Yelay is a multichain yield infrastructure, enabling businesses to build automated products powered by crypto rewards. We crafted a bold, adaptable visual identity featuring a unique doubled “y” symbol, Acid Blue palette, and dynamic diagonal elements, enhancing Yelay’s presence.

The Yield Layer – Yelay offers a robust, multichain yield infrastructure for businesses. Yelay delivers a more efficient, user-friendly, and innovative yield-generation touchpoint in DeFi. By offering a turnkey way to use and optimise yield, Yelay is positioned to become an essential part of the DeFi stack for businesses and their clients. We were looking for a strong visual style that, with its simplicity, can withstand being incorporated into various products.
The Yield Layer – Yelay offers a robust, multichain yield infrastructure for businesses. Yelay delivers a more efficient, user-friendly, and innovative yield-generation touchpoint in DeFi. By offering a turnkey way to use and optimise yield, Yelay is positioned to become an essential part of the DeFi stack for businesses and their clients. We were looking for a strong visual style that, with its simplicity, can withstand being incorporated into various products.
Design
During our design process, we wanted to create a sufficiently contemporary and easily readable symbol that would be cleverly designed within the context of Yelay's extensive portfolio. While developing several variations, we discovered the possibility of doubling the letter 'y', which resulted in a sufficiently unique symbol. It carries a visual message about the existence of layers and the multiplication. The doubled “y” serves as the symbol of Yelay. For the color palette, we designed RGB blue as the primary color, named Acid Blue, complemented by accent colors Acid Lime and Acid Pink. Instead of white, we often use ivory, called Gold Dust. A distinctive graphic element, used in both static and dynamic forms, is composed of diagonal lines that intersect at various angles.

Implement
For the client we prepared a brand graphic manual. We designed several versions of the visual style's application for motion design. We also produced a video that introduced the brand's creation, accompanied by countdown videos before its launch. We believe that our work helped to make the Yelay project more visible and, in a positive sense, attracted attention with its distinctive expression. At the same time, we still consider it a serious and professional result of a pleasant collaboration.
