Czech Orienteering’s identity combines community, nature, and adventure. We created a logo merging the start symbol and Czech flag, with iconic orange and map lines for clarity. A mascot engages younger audiences, and the streamlined design unifies communication across sub-brands.

Identify

The Czech Orienteering project began as a competition we won, focusing on community, family atmosphere, and a deep connection with nature. Adventure and unpredictability are key values, as in many sports, but in the forest, you never know what to expect.

The Czech Orienteering project began as a competition we won, focusing on community, family atmosphere, and a deep connection with nature. Adventure and unpredictability are key values, as in many sports, but in the forest, you never know what to expect.

Design

The brand represents local clubs, the Czech Republic in orienteering, and the sport within the context of other Czech sports. We merged the classic start symbol with the Czech flag, creating a logo that reflects both. The symbol appears on every map, accented with the iconic orange color. We also incorporated the north-south lines from the map for better recognition and coherence across materials. To engage younger audiences, we added a mascot illustration set to make the brand more relatable.
